Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TiXiE ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 17 years old to use TiXiE
• You must provide accurate information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

Description of Service

TiXiE is a marketplace connecting:

• Task Requesters: Users who request videos from specific locations
• Task Responders: Users who fulfill video requests for payment

User Accounts

• You must register with a valid phone number
• One account per phone number
• You are responsible for all activity on your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

SMS & Carrier Disclaimer

By registering with your phone number, you consent to receive a one-time SMS passcode (OTP) to verify your identity. This is the only SMS message type TiXiE sends — we do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.

• Message frequency: One message per login or account creation attempt.
• Message & data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
• To opt out: Reply STOP to any SMS from TiXiE to cancel future messages.
• For help: Reply HELP or contact us at support@tixie.app.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Task Creation (Requesters)

Tasks must request legal, appropriate content with a minimum $5 reward. You may not request videos:

• On private property without permission
• That violate privacy laws or involve trespassing
• Of minors
• That are illegal, harmful, or inappropriate
• That endanger the responder's safety

Payment is authorized when creating a task and charged upon accepting a video. Refunds are not provided for accepted videos.

Task Completion (Responders)

• You have a limited time to accept or decline a task
• Acceptance obligates you to attempt the task
• You must be at the specified location when recording
• Videos must meet the requester's description
• Up to 3 retakes allowed

Payment is released after the requester rates 2.5+ stars, processed via Stripe. Instant withdrawal carries a $2 fee; weekly payouts are free. Minimum withdrawal is $5.

Video Content & Privacy

Requested Videos are private by default — visible only to the requester and one friend if shared. They cannot be downloaded or shared to social media.

Discovery Videos are public content posted to the discovery feed, visible to all TiXiE users outside your exclusion radius.

Discovery Exclusion Radius: All discovery videos are subject to a geographic exclusion radius. Users in your immediate area will not see your discovery videos, providing a layer of local privacy.

• All videos include a TiXiE watermark for branding and attribution
• Videos are automatically deleted 48 hours after submission and cannot be recovered
• Videos cannot be downloaded by any user — content is view-only within the app

Chat System

Chats are available for task-related communication and are automatically deleted 48 hours after submission. Either party can end a chat at any time.

Chat costs (charged to requester): $2.00 per message (responder receives $1.00), $5.00 per link sent.

Prohibited: personal contact information, harassment, threats, or attempting to conduct business outside TiXiE. Violations result in account suspension.

Fees and Payments

• Instant Withdrawal Fee: $2.00 per transfer
• Chat — Text Message: $2.00 per message
• Chat — Link Fee: $5.00 per link sent

All payments are processed via Stripe. You must provide a valid payment method. Chargebacks may result in account suspension.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Use the service for fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to manipulate ratings or game the system
• Create multiple accounts
• Use automated tools or bots
• Request or create inappropriate or illegal content

Ratings

Requesters rate responders 1–5 stars after receiving a video. Payment is released only for ratings of 2.5 or above. Ratings below 2.5 result in a partial refund with no payment to the responder. Ratings are final.

An average rating below 2.0 may result in account suspension.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

TiXiE is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We do not guarantee task completion, video quality, or uninterrupted service. Responders are independent contractors, not employees.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

Dispute Resolution

Contact us first at support@tixie.app to resolve disputes informally. Unresolved disputes are settled through binding arbitration under AAA rules. You waive the right to class action lawsuits.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii.

App Store Compliance

Apple App Store: These Terms supplement Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and is not obligated to provide support.

Google Play: These Terms supplement Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not responsible for the App or its content.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via in-app notice.
